Proposed new RHS Garden Bridgewater

The RHS have asked me to pass on the email below regarding support for their proposed new RHS Garden on the outskirts of Salford whilst more accessible from North Wales, members in the South could well be interested.

As you may be aware we have now submitted our application for planning permission for the development of the site for the fifth garden - RHS Garden Bridgewater - on the site of Worsley New Hall, on the outskirts of Salford.

Greening Grey Britain for Wildlife - RHS Support Available

As you are hopefully aware, as part of this year’s Greening Grey Britain for wildlife-themed Bloom launch, we are seeking applications for RHS support and funding for community gardening projects that involve young people. We are offering direct support from our outreach advisors and up to £500 per project towards plant and material costs for a number of groups.

As we fast approach the deadline (February 17), we would love it if you could help us spread the word amongst your groups, encouraging as many to apply as possible!
